Dr. Medlin is a Pediatric Neuropsychologist who has experience completing neuropsychological and psychological evaluations with a variety of pediatric and young adult populations in both inpatient and outpatient settings. She obtained her Doctorate in Clinical Psychology with a specialization in neuropsychology from the Florida School of Professional Psychology at Argosy University, Tampa in 2017. She completed her doctoral internship in neuropsychology at Utah State Hospital in Provo, Utah and completed her pediatric neuropsychology fellowship training at Gale and Associates Center for Assessment and Psychotherapy, PLLC in Park City, Utah and Alberta Children’s Hospital in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. After being away for four years completing her training, she moved back to St. Petersburg, Florida to begin working in private practice.
Dr. Medlin works with children, adolescents, and young adults who have neurological, medical and neurodevelopmental disorders by helping to identify their strengths and weaknesses and providing recommendations to improve and maintain their quality of life. She has extensive experience in completing evaluations of children and young adults with epilepsy, including pre- and post-surgical evaluations, cancer, including pre- and post-radiation and chemotherapy evaluations, traumatic brain injury, stroke, rare genetic and metabolic conditions, ADHD, learning disorders, intellectual disability, autism spectrum disorder, and psychiatric conditions.
